This is a beautiful, traditional Korean houses with a lovely hostess. The rooms are simple as expected but the beds are very conveniently heated, a great thing in the cold Korean winter. The breakfast is surprisingly rich with lots of fruits and various rice snacks among other things. The guesthouse is also just across the street from some of the city’s most significant sights and a short walk away from lots of shopping and eating opportunities. Great value for money also, would be happy to return here.

Clean and comfortable but you must realize that this is a typical guesthouse with mats on the floor and not a 5 star hotel

Meng Keh Singapur

This is a restored and expanded traditional Korean house that offers bed and breakfast, with cultural experience. It is ran by a retired university professor and his wife with passion. The wife, while still active in her career, is also the lady host the of house. She engaged us during breakfast and showcased to us her peronal collection of traditonal Korean costumes and musical instruments. The room we stayed in has ensuite toilet, not usual for a traditional Korean house. The house is in the bustling old town area with many cafe, restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to the Gyeongju monuments.

Martyna Lituània

The house itself had everything you need for a pleasant stay, even if the hanok is very traditional. The owners preserved the beauty of the house well. It is located further from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area, hence you get a good night's rest. The owners were incredibly accomodating, explained what we should see in Gyeongju, recommended a great local place for dinner and even arranged a taxi to come and take us to the train station in the morning. A wonderful experience!

IP Hong Kong

Mr Kim was a good host whom can be communicated in English. The pension is spacious, clean and tidy with sufficient facilities. It is near Bulkasa Temple but not close to city centre. Thus, the environment is quiet with natural beauty. We highly recommend to take this pension if we travel to Gyeongju next time. Thanks for Mr Kim's hospitality.

Khang Vietnam

This place is amazing! Feel like I'm living in a house with everything I could possibly need. The lady host was incredibly caring to her guests. She definitely ranks among the most dedicated hosts I've ever seen. She's not afraid to go extra miles to make sure you understand everything. Gyeongju is a beautiful city and I highly recommend this place for budget travellers.

Great guesthouse experience in traditional style home with modern interior. Rooms are simple futons on the floor (with Korean heated floors). Extremely friendly host, she only speaks Korean. Free onsite parking, bus to downtown and stations are right across the street. Lovely common area. Property is right against national park for tranquility. Wifi available. Free ramen, coffee, tea available. A+ stay for a traditional Korean feel! There is also a woman's only dorm downstairs

Alejandra Nova Zelanda

Very quiet and relaxing place. It is located 20 minutes from the city, so it is a perfect place to take a break from the crowd. Very clean and comfortable, the bedroom is huge and it has kitchen appliances and private bathroom. You have to bring your own food as there is not restaurants near by. It would be better if you have your own car, because public transportation is a bit difficult. However, you can also call a taxi (not very easy if you don’t have a local phone number). Thankfully, the owner Mr Lee is the most amazing host!!! He will help you with everything, general information about transport, attractions, food. He is very kind and will look after you always, he made us feel so welcome in his house that we can not wait to come back :)
