We loved everything: comfortable adjustable bed, in room propane heater/pot belly stove, ideal kitchen facilities and communal dining and cooking areas, floor to ceiling bedroom and kitchen windows, free use of a coffee machine throughout the day, and a location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, near public transit. Perhaps best of all are the other folks who live onsite, some of whom are Dutch and really make you feel welcomed and at home!

Room for solo traveler (one bed) is small but cosy and more than adequate, clean all around, with great bed and linen, tv, private bathroom with shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful (both receptionists I encountered). All of this you get for a really budget price, not much more than hostel bunk bed. Great experience overall.
