Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. That is the best place for resting after the gorilla trek. We spent there 4 days on trekking, swimming, canoeing and doing nothing. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy going. We really enjoyed the food they served. The place is located in an unspoilt area, distanced from the city and other lodges. Wr highly recommend Amasiko.
