I loved this place so clean, so friendly, we really enjoyed our stay, breakfast every morning was amazingly delicious, all the beautiful treats in our room were amazing, the host very friendly, loving, and caring, I really recommend this beautiful place, we had an amazing time celebrating our 42nd Anniversary. Gullivers Guest House ligger i East Maitland, 33 km fra Energy Australia Stadion, 33 km fra Newcastle International Hockey Centre og 33 km fra Newcastle Showground. The whole stay was delightful. We loved the self contained aspect, the setting, the cleanliness. Being able to have our dog was an absolute bonus. The quietness of the neighbourhood. The sprawling, immaculately kept front yards and all the neighbourhood dogs beautifully contained. Even the red chicken who kept escaping added to our delight. Thank you for a beautiful space to stay.

The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.
