Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach. It was the most beautiful place we stayed in during our trip through Tassie. The room was exceptionally beautiful, the whole house actually was. Gorgeous interior and extremely perfect location, just next to the penguine spotting point. We arrived late and had a super smooth checkin. Since the town stores were already closed it was even more pleasant to be able to choose from the amazing variety of local beverages that were setup in the room.

Assemblage Boutique Art B & B, a property with a garden, is located in Hobart, 3.9 km from Theatre Royal, 5.4 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, as well as 3.4 km from Government... The heated floor in the bathroom was luxurious!

Madsen Retreat offers pet-friendly accommodation in Penguin. Free secure on-site parking available. A full cooked English breakfast is available for an additional $15 per person, per night. Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable with a nice view. Ting, the owner very friendly and helpful, even insisted on carrying our suitcases up the stairs, and back down when we left. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room at agreed time, some tasty fresh pastries included.

The Cosy Cottage offers self-contained accommodation in Port Sorell. It features a cosy fireplace. The open-plan cottage includes full kitchen facilities, a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Lovely large apartment. With everything you need. Host left eggs butter & jam in fridge. all the small things made our stay great. Very quit in country setting. Not fair from town. Shower good. Lots of space in unit. washing machine & drier also. Nice clothes line under Verandah. Lot of books & dvds.

Just 7 minutes' walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), Astor Private Hotel offers rooms with antique furniture and access to free WiFi. A low-key, one-of-a-kind vintage hotel, staying at the Astor was a highlight of my trip to Hobart.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Such a beautiful house, so homely with fantastic surroundings. Lovely, well maintained walks with the bonus of Australian wildlife. A wonderful garden and orchard and fresh eggs from the hens. Sad to leave this piece of Paradise.

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. Everything! great location- very central to all we had planned and sensational hosts- Michael & Roberto - so welcoming, friendly, amiable & generous; gave us some great tips on places to visit, best driving routes etc.and both brimming with personality. This gorgeous home was impeccably clean; the room offered beautiful garden views; the bed was supremely comfortable with crisp sheets and very good pillows. A delicious breakfast was provided - expertly cooked and beautifully presented, topped off by fresh roses from the garden each morning. Many thoughtful inclusions made our stay very memorable & comfortable - home made biscuits, relishes, jams, Berry compote, fresh eggs, herbs and vegetables from their garden to an array of quality toiletry products.

Located in Primrose Sands and only less than 1 km from Primrose Sands Beach, Primrose Seaside Healing Retreat provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very large, clean unit. Very welcoming and helpful host. Very comfortable.

Set within 38 km of Theatre Royal and 40 km of Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, Wherewithal Luxury Suites provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Carlton. Everything - it was truly 5 star.
