It was the most beautiful place we stayed in during our trip through Tassie. The room was exceptionally beautiful, the whole house actually was. Gorgeous interior and extremely perfect location, just next to the penguine spotting point. We arrived late and had a super smooth checkin. Since the town stores were already closed it was even more pleasant to be able to choose from the amazing variety of local beverages that were setup in the room.

The Cosy Cottage offers self-contained accommodation in Port Sorell. It features a cosy fireplace. The open-plan cottage includes full kitchen facilities, a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Lovely large apartment. With everything you need. Host left eggs butter & jam in fridge. all the small things made our stay great. Very quit in country setting. Not fair from town. Shower good. Lots of space in unit. washing machine & drier also. Nice clothes line under Verandah. Lot of books & dvds.

Just 7 minutes' walk from Hobart CBD (Central Business District), Astor Private Hotel offers rooms with antique furniture and access to free WiFi. If you want a bit of a trip back in time that matches the Hobart vibe then this is the place to stay. Tildy is very welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. The Astor Grill on the ground floor is superb but very popular so it's probably best to book direct in advance. If you use the Skybus from the airport get off at Stop 4.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond. Great location, Had everything we required.

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Absolutely loved the quiet location, the surrounding wildlife, the walks from the base and the warm welcome from Grant. Also the cottage was incredibly well appointed and scrupulously clean Cannot praise it enough.

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. The breakfast was excellent both mornings. Our room was very comfortable, immaculately clean and very quiet. Both Michael and Roberto were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We will absolutely visit again.
