Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach. I liked everything about this place. So close to the nut and in my room felt like I was transported back in time. Beds very comfortable, and amenities were as expected clean and fresh. Felt like royalty staying here!

Assemblage Boutique Art B & B, a property with a garden, is located in Hobart, 3.9 km from Theatre Royal, 5.4 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, as well as 3.4 km from Government... Great and unique property! If I had more time, I would love to take an art class with them!

Madsen Retreat offers pet-friendly accommodation in Penguin. Free secure on-site parking available. A full cooked English breakfast is available for an additional $15 per person, per night. Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable with a nice view. Ting, the owner very friendly and helpful, even insisted on carrying our suitcases up the stairs, and back down when we left. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room at agreed time, some tasty fresh pastries included.

The Cosy Cottage offers self-contained accommodation in Port Sorell. It features a cosy fireplace. The open-plan cottage includes full kitchen facilities, a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Lovely large apartment. With everything you need. Host left eggs butter & jam in fridge. all the small things made our stay great. Very quit in country setting. Not fair from town. Shower good. Lots of space in unit. washing machine & drier also. Nice clothes line under Verandah. Lot of books & dvds.

If you want a bit of a trip back in time that matches the Hobart vibe then this is the place to stay. Tildy is very welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. The Astor Grill on the ground floor is superb but very popular so it's probably best to book direct in advance. If you use the Skybus from the airport get off at Stop 4.

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Absolutely loved the quiet location, the surrounding wildlife, the walks from the base and the warm welcome from Grant. Also the cottage was incredibly well appointed and scrupulously clean Cannot praise it enough.

Guests at Explorers Lodge have access to a cosy guest lounge with fireplace, a sun room, sun deck and landscaped gardens to explore. Free WiFi is provided. The breakfast was excellent both mornings. Our room was very comfortable, immaculately clean and very quiet. Both Michael and Roberto were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We will absolutely visit again.
