Set in Coihaique in the Aysen region, Ruta Austral - Coyhaique offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain views. A cosy homely place to stay! We loved the wood panelling in the bedroom and the wood stove in the corridor kept our room cosy. Everything was tidy and clean. Kitchen very well equipped and because there are only three rooms, we didn't have to compete for space on the hob like in hostels. We were working remotely so it was a pleasant surprise that there was a desk with a proper desk chair in our room! The host was really friendly and helped us organise an early morning taxi ahead of our check out. Would definitely recommend!

Featuring a shared lounge, Hostal Uruz offers accommodation in Coihaique. The property has mountain and city views. The staff were great - they let us drop our bags off early and made us to go breakfast boxes for our early flight the next day. Highly recommend! Facilities were very clean, modern and comfortable.

Warm, cozy, relaxed, great location, quiet, best breakfast in Patagonia, great shower, comfortable bed… really a great place to stay and hang out in Villa O’Higigns. Also, Carolina is a published author on the arts and crafts of the region and a very interesting person to talk to (even though we have minimal Spanish). Highly recommended!

Set in Puerto Cisnes and only 600 metres from Puerto Cisnes Beach, Hospedaje Alto Palena de Puerto Cisnes offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Good-sized room, towel& handwash in bathroom, quiet street, professional welcome. I specially liked the kitchenette that guests can use, with an electric kettle & coffee available at any time & a microwave (I didn't use the latter). For a small extra cost I upgraded to a double room with private bathroom. The Terraustral bus from Chaiten dropped me almost at the door (this is thanks to lovely Terraustral driver, not the guesthouse!).

Jose is an excellent host and will go out of his way to make you feel welcomed! We loved our stay here in the quad room with private bathroom on the second floor. It has lovely views, beds are super comfortable and shower has lots of hot water and pressure. Just be careful as the small tub can be slippery. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a common area, a kitchen, a library on the first floor and an honor fridge with drinks. Quiet time is 22:00 but we heard no noise at any time. Front door is opened and secured by an access code and there is a locked parking lot but we just parked on the street. Wifi was excellent everywhere in the hostal. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, ham, cheese, salami and scrambled eggs. Coffee is very good. Hostess Gabi is a delight, full of enthusiasm, smiles and lots of tips to enjoy your stay. She and her sister truly care about making their hostel the best it can be and it shows. Will definitely stay there again if we are in Coyhaique.

Location is perfect, a nice quiet distance from busy streets. Excellent homestay with plenty of privacy and a kind host. The room is in the house but above a utility room so it's very quiet Great little area to sit and eat or work on travel plans
