Onda Hostel is beautiful; from the moment you open the bamboo gate and walk around the corner you feel like you have entered some type of paradise. The staff only add to that feeling, bringing some chill beach vibes and big smiles. The location is also perfect. Situated 30 seconds from the beach on one side and another 30 seconds to Mompiche's main strip (and food options) on the other side. Thank you for having us, Strawberry, we will definitely be back!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, La Caleta is set in Mompiche, 50 metres from Mompiche Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Simple, clean and beautiful rooms. There are only two, with a shared bathroom between them, so it's very peaceful.

Quinta El Mamey is a recently renovated guest house in Río Verde, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Fernando and Belinda made me feel so welcome and I got to have experiences in Esmeraldas that I was not able to have anywhere else. The food was incredible and I loved running on the beach right outside their property. One day I ended up running for two hours! The natural beauty of the area coupled with eating many different fruits and foods that I have never tried before made this an unforgettable experience.

Situated in Mompiche, La Casa Mompiche offers beachfront accommodation 100 metres from Mompiche Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden and barbecue facilities. I love that it faces the ocean and not at the heart of all the noise, but tucked a bit off the beaten path. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return again.

Hosteria Cumilinche features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Same. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. A beautiful secluded spot with its own beach and lots of trees and plants. We liked the cabin and the hammocks around the property. The tide varies widely during the day, so at times the beach is covered and at times you can walk a long way in either direction.

Boasting garden views, Raices Mompiche provides accommodation with patio, around 400 metres from Mompiche Beach. We stayed at Raices Mompiche three nights in the end of December. The room was big and there would have been space for two more people. The outdoor area of the hostel was lovely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. We liked a lot that the hostel had some environmentally friendly rules for instance avoid using plastics or at least to separate waste. It was nice that breakfast was offered.

Located in Atacames, 70 metres from Atacames Beach, Hostal SAMARY provides air-conditioned rooms and a rooftop pool. The property features quiet street views. Great place. Very clean. Helpful and accommodating staff. Close to the beach but far enough such that music from the bars doesn't arrive to the room.
