The staff only add to that feeling, bringing some chill beach vibes and big smiles. The location is also perfect. Situated 30 seconds from the beach on one side and another 30 seconds to Mompiche's main strip (and food options) on the other side. Thank you for having us, Strawberry, we will definitely be back!

Fernando and Belinda made me feel so welcome and I got to have experiences in Esmeraldas that I was not able to have anywhere else. The food was incredible and I loved running on the beach right outside their property. One day I ended up running for two hours! The natural beauty of the area coupled with eating many different fruits and foods that I have never tried before made this an unforgettable experience.

Raices Mompiche ligger i Mompiche, 5 minuters promenad från Mompiche Beach, och har en trädgård, terrass och utsikt över staden. We stayed at Raices Mompiche three nights in the end of December. The room was big and there would have been space for two more people. The outdoor area of the hostel was lovely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. We liked a lot that the hostel had some environmentally friendly rules for instance avoid using plastics or at least to separate waste. It was nice that breakfast was offered.
