The room was simply but that was exactly what we needed; a place to crash after a long days hike. The view from the porch was breathtaking. The dinner and breakfast were awesome. We ordered a couple box lunches for day 2 of the quilatoa loop trek. I couldn't have asked for anything better to fuel us on your trek. Thank you! You guys were great!

Hostería Papagayo is a great place to enjoy nature. It has plenty of friendly animals (dogs, horses, lamas, chickens, rabbits, etc) and offers diverse activities (tours to Cotopaxi (around 30min from the park entrance), horse riding, night walks on the property) which we enjoyed a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having a restaurant on site, we particularly enjoyed the grilled trout. Our room was large, clean and the chimney gave it a very cosy touch while keeping us warm after an outdoor jacuzzi session! We highly recommend this place.
