The warmest hospitality of the guest family made me feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious dinner served by the gracious hosts. There was a salad with quishe, wine and a delightful dessert, so it was a culinary experience to remember. The warmth and generosity of this guest family truly made my Provence mountain retreat unforgettable. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and authentic French charm.

Situated in Blieux, Gaïa, maison d'hôtes Verdon, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. With a garden, the property also features a terrace. The guest house provides a shared lounge. I enjoyed being in a beautiful place with a breathtaking view. Meeting interesting people staying at Gaia’s was a pleasure and Gaia herself worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was a comfortable as possible. Her meals were outstanding and memorable.

The road outside the property took straight into Riez and then along the Verdun Gorge, amazing views and spectacular drives.

The room size was great as well as the location right in the center of town. The room and bathroom were very clean, plenty of towels and they also provided bottled water & a snack in the room. It was easy to get in touch with the staff via text who was very friendly.

At the end of a narrow road, you find this gem of a B&B. The rooms are basic, but clean and you have to prepare your own meals in the common but lovely kitchen area. The very best of the stay is the hospitality of Pascal and his wife Nancy who runs the place, the gorgeous view and all the nice people that you meet at breakfast and evening meals. Just outside the doorstep there are lovely trails passning by that are worth trying out.

First of all, everyone who gets a chance must visit France. What a lovely country. In France, there is Moustiers Saint Marie and Gorge du Verdon in the Provence area. Heaven on Earth, both places. To be able to stay nearby, you look for a decent place. Sous des Chenes is one such value for money option! Breakfast wasn't included in our booking. The rest was a pleasure. Evguenia and Vladimir and their daughter Maria... and their gorgeous Husky Lyka were extremely warm and welcoming. The rented space is pretty and spic and span and very very comfortable, but the bedroom is a tad tiny. However, we had a car that came right up to the accommodation, so we only carried in the bare essentials. So all went well.
