We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

Amazing host, comfortable beds and the hospitality they provided just simply amazing. We will come back for sure!

Nastanitev Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa je v mestu Bukit Lawang in ponuja vrt. Gostišče nudi teraso in razgled na gore, privoščite pa si lahko tudi obrok v restavraciji ali pijačo v baru. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They also helped us arrange the most incredible trek in the jungle. A very unique stay. All of the staff was attentive, the cook was very sweet and made great meals, and everyone really paid attention to our needs and safety during the trek.

Nastanitev SeaGate Bungalows se nahaja ob morju v mestu Sabang in ponuja vrt ter zasebno plažo. Uporabljate lahko brezplačen WiFi in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, na voljo pa je tudi terasa. I have stayed 4 days at SeaGate bungalows and it’s a beautiful place, I didn’t want to leave. Borja y Yuyun (the owners) are very caring and even after just few days the place felt more like a home away from home. It’s one of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

You felt right at home, which made it even more comfortable. It’s away from the busy city of Medan and within a little bit of nature.

The owner was so kind. Let me stay in a slightly more expensive room inside without paying the difference and got a ride back to the guesthouse from the city center at night. I wasn’t there for long but definitely felt it was a good deal for the price. It is pretty far from the center of butik lawang. You can walk it in 20min or get a tuktuk for 30rp. The walk is nice. You get to see another side to the area.

Nastanitev Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour z 2 zvezdicama se nahaja v mestu Bukit Lawang. The guest house is located by a fast paced river. Families come to enjoy the swimming there and the place is full of laughter . Bukit Lawang is an idyllic village with cafes and small shops on riverside. I was travelling solo but was always finding myself in company. Butra, Maya and Juni made me feel most welcome. Great breakfast was always there when needed 😀.
