It was serene and has a fully covered courtyard in the the center where you can eat breakfast or have tea every morning (the photos on the site are very accurate). The individually-portioned breakfast was awesome, very generous, and changed on a daily basis. I also loved the fresh ginger tea they served in the evenings. In terms of location, you can get to Malioboro via a $2 cab ride (or you can walk 20-30min to get there). It's super easy to get cabs in Yogyakarta. There's also a convenience store right outside on the main road, and the guest house is a 3min walk away from Tempo Gelato (a popular dessert place). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Bambang, who is such a kind person and always there when we needed something.

The location inside the kingdom was quiet and you could feel the home atmosphere. The design of the space allowed for plenty of natural light in all directions. The landscaping lends to the space and we were impressed by the lack of mosquitoes and enjoyed watching the geckos feasting on the porch in the evening.

"NOMORE" Gallery and Guesthouse ligger i Kraton-kvarteret i Yogyakarta, mindre end 1 km fra Sonobudoyo-museet, 13 minutters gang fra Fort Vredeburg og mindre end 1 km fra præsidentpaladset i... Super friendly stay with great hosts. The room was perfect and breakfast as well! 😁

Hotellet ligger i byen Yogyakarta, blot 12 minutters kørsel fra butiksgaden Malioboro. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery er en klassisk villa med javanesisk-europæisk design. The staff are really helpful, friendly and speak excellent English. The hotel was really good value. It's well maintained and there are ceramics and art decorating the place. It's very easy and cheap to book GRAB cars to and from the hotel. GRAB is across Asia and is on an App like UBER. GRAB to the main sites cost just US$ 2 or $3. It's an area where local people go to eat and socialise not a tourist trap area. There are very good restaurants within a few hundred yards, Racikan was great for food and coffee, we also liked Dapur Manado. These are a few minutes walk from the hotel. The airport express train goes into the centre of Yogyakarta and the hotel is a few minutes away by Grab. We enjoyed our visit and it was excellent value.

Blue Garden Yogyakarta er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Yogyakarta, 11 km fra Museum Sonobudoyo. Der er udendørs swimmingpool og bjergudsigt. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Ndalem Suryo Saptono Guest House ligger i Yogyakarta, 2,7 km fra togstationen Yogyakarta Tugu, 3,1 km fra Tugu-monumentet og butikscentret Malioboro Mall. We had a lovely stay at Naya's house. We decided to order breakfast and we enjoyed it so much! Lovely patio at our villa as well, we had the breakfast there, every morning. The beds are super comfy, the rooms are big, but we mostly loved the patio where we worked as well.

Mr.Wibowo loves to drive you to place you have never been and he makes sure you are comfortable while he's driving. Snacks and drinks are always with him. Mr. Wibowo's wife cook you meals and breakfast with lots of love in it and we preferred to stay at their home for dinner instead of going to a restaurant. The room is big and have everything you need to feel at home. We really recommend this homestay to everybody!! Don't look any further!!
