The home is a typical Japanese home with tatami rooms and shared bathroom and ofuro, it’s a good experience for foreign travellers wishing to stay in a clean and affordable accommodation in Furano.

Fantastic home made breakfast He helped us booking and taking us to a restaurant nearby. After he installed us at the restaurant he invited us for a whisky tasting of his Japanese favourites. The most helpful and kind host I have ever met. Thanks a lot for a memorable stay.

Shabby House är ett 60 år gammalt, traditionellt japanskt hus i Sapporo. Stationen Nishisenjuyojo ligger 3 minuters promenad från boendet. Mr. Kudo is super attentive, and we had some great conversations, plus he gave me some recommendations for sight-seeing to squeeze a bit more out of my last day. The room is very nice for the price, everything you need and no more, understanding that you're gonna be sharing the space with other travelers (plus hanging out over breakfast is very nice). Well-connected thanks to the streetcar, which makes it only 20 minutes to the city center. I genuinely only had positive experiences with this guest house, and the "negative points" are just nitpicks.
