The bus from Johanna station stops 20 meter from the house, same stop to go to the villages, so you dont need a car to visit this place. Very beautifully renovated house with old elements and modern comfort. Super friendly owner. Nice tofushop, Japanese bakery and small supermarket closeby. Also very Nice to scroll around the house. Been 4 times to Japan and would absolutely recommend to stay here!

Guesthouse Iwase ligger i Toyama, 2,2 km från Toyama-kojo och 14 km från Toyama Family Park. The host was really kind, he made conversation with me even though I speak little japanese and recommended a few spots around the area to visit. Both the house and the share rooms were more spacious than I expected, and I also got a couple of free tram tickets with my stay. Great experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff! It was amazing to stay in a traditional Japanese thatched house (over 300 years old). The accommodation was warm and had a very cosy lounge area (with guitars and other instruments to play) and lots of cooking space. The location was also quite spectacular with views of the city at night and located next to a lake, park, and sports facilities. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the property. Definitely a must if you're planning to stay in Nanto.
