We were travelling through Latgale and booked the property on the same day. After short communication with the host found the best option for us and for about an hour later we were already in our room due to very easy access code system. Everything in the room was well taken care of - from the water pressure to the interior details, enough dishes etc. Also outside our room was an outside bench and table to enjoy morning coffee outside.

It felt like home. Amazing property and heart warming lady welcoming us. Location is 30min walk from centre, but we enjoyed that, because we had the possibility to chill and watch sunset on balcony in a quiet quiet place. Breakfast was great. We would definitely return.

The view is fantastic, very quite and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and nice. No interaction between visitors and owners.

We very much liked that the place is quite private, so you have your own garden with a lake. Sauna was great - it's quite spacious and has a view to the lake. Having a sauna while watching a sunset. The house did have everything that we needed for our stay. We also saw multiple herons flying near to our shore. The lake itself offers a lot. Thanks a lot for this nice experience!

Featuring a garden and views of lake, BALTĀ māja is a recently renovated guest house located in Aglona, less than 1 km from Aglona Basilica. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Loved the creative elements in the room. Liked that everything was super clean and the garden was well taken care of. As this place has opened just recently, I hope it maintains the level of service for a long time. We stayed just for a night, but would have loved to stay more to enjoy the peacefulness of the place.
