If you are looking for something different this is your place. A really quiet place with no tourists and wonderful views. The way to arrive is an off-road and you need approximately 1h to go across 30km but it is really worth it because the surroundings are really beautiful. Having a 4x4 is not mandatory but I really recommend it to arrive. The cabin was perfect for 2 people and is fully equipped. It also has a hot tube outside that was a must to relax at the end of the day with great views to the fjord.

The 3-bedroom cottages at Langahlid Cottages all have an open-plan room with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The living room features a flat-screen TV and DVD player. It was the best place that we have stayed in Iceland. A cozy cottage had everything that you need to feel like at home. A hot tub - jacuzzi was very relaxing. The lacation gives you amazing views to the fiord. The owner visited us and it was plesure to have an interesting chart with him about the place. Thank you for your hospitality!

The recently renovated villa has 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a toaster and a fridge. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. It's a very comfortable and beautiful place. There's all of the amenities we can possibly need. The host was a delight as well, very nice, helpful and comprehensive. Heated floor in the main entrance, café machines and drying and washing machines also available. It was a really a modern house with a comfy outlook. Comfortable beds and big nice dining table. We loved it.

The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!

Beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere with a great view into the nature. The cottage was very cozy and well equipped. The owner was very nice and gave us some tips where we could see puffins :)
