I just love everything!!!!: the location (in front of the river with outstanding views), the facilities (comfy bed, private bathroom, nice baranda to chill out) and the staff is really really nice and friendly. They gave us free water, and also they let us put our fruit in a fridge. We were supposed to spend 1 night and we stayed 3 because we love it!!! I would come back for sure.

I also had my first hot shower in Sumatra after 7 days which was great as not many homestays have hot water! The food is amazing, you have to try! They even showed us how to do it so we could learn about indonesian cuisine. Originally we wanted to stay for 2 nights, but ended up extending to 5 nights. They have traditional Batak houses which is a great experience. The accomondation has enough space in the garden to relax and has a great view on the lake.

The breakfast was lovely served and offered a variety of food (Omelett, Fried eggs, pancake, fruits, toast, juice etc). The room was spacious and had a nice balcony with lake views. The only very nice person was the son who has to run the place by himself while his father is sitting around in the reception area all day. The son tried his very best and was very sweet.
