We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

Ubytovanie Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa sa nachádza v destinácii Bukit Lawang a sídli v budove z roku 2020. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu a izby s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

Lake access and beautiful view from the garden as well as the room - I think The most beautiful out of all The accomodation I’ve seen while walking around Tuk Tuk Village. New and very clean apartaments. Great banana pancaces for breakfast:) Very warm and helpful owners- helped organize a guide and transport around The lake as well as futher trip.

The hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The house is very nice, rooms are good and cool. They have breakfast and diner options. It’s what a guest house should be. We recommend this accommodation 👌🏻

I liked everything about this place, the room was great, comfortable bed, hot shower and great breakfast with a sweet surprise everyday - but what I liked the most is Kaesa and his lovely family, they made me feel at home, helped me with everything I needed and made my trip started in best way possible.

Ubytovanie Smiley's Homestay sa nachádza v destinácii Berastagi 24 km od miesta Mount Sinabung. Hostia môžuv celom ubytovaní využívať bezplatné Wi-Fi. The breakfast at smileys is just stunning!!! Best breakfast you will find in Sumatra with self-made bread and banana-cupcakes. The room was big and clean with a nice terrace and a beautiful view. The hostel is located around 15 min walk from the center away, near to a nice viewpoint where you can see the sunset. Smiley ans his wife are such nice people! I would definitely go againg!

Ubytovanie Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour s 2 hviezdičkami sa nachádza v destinácii Bukit Lawang. If you want to take a tour in the jungle this is the company to go with. The room is value for money and Putra with his family will help you with everything you need + more. I got sick before the trek and got a lot of support from the staff and the trek was easy to reschedule. The tour was the best jungle experience I've had this far, will be back for sure.

This was an awesome place to stay, it’s clean and simple in a great location. However, what sets this villa apart is the owner, Frenki. He is very kind and is able to help you with anything you need. He organized us car rides, scooter rentals, and visa extensions. During our stay we got sick, he took us to the doctor and helped us get antibiotics. At the hospital my brother needed stitches, he dropped everything to come right away to help us. Night after night he showed us great local places to eat. Frenki really cares about his guests and wants them to enjoy krui. I would highly recommend staying here!
