Brian helped set up the jungle trek with Rosyid, who was a incredible guide. He was very knowledgeable, fun and made sure we had a great time. Definitely recommend booking the trek through the guesthouse. I’m going to have to come back and do a longer trek with them.

Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

We spent five days in this paradise. The bungalow is really large and is surrounded by nature with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. At night you fall asleep with the sound of the waves. Right in front of the bungalow is one of the most beautiful coral reefs on the island and at sunset everything becomes even more magical thanks to the unique colors and the passage of flying foxes (we also saw a manta ray jumping in front of our window). The place is certainly magnificent, but to make it unique are the two owners Borja and Yuyun who make you feel at home and pay a lot of attention to eco-sustainable tourism. They are also two very good divers (you can rent snorkling equipment) who will be able to advise you on the best experiences the island offers. Since it is not possible to withdraw cash in Banda Aceh province, you can wire them using Wise and they will withdraw the money for you. An unforgettable experience.

Lovely place, perfect for travellers stopping by on the way to e.g. Bukit Lawang or Lake Toba (you can arrange transport here which makes it all very easy). Lovely owners and staff. I stayed here twice on my trip and met interesting and friendly fellow travellers both times - it's that kind of place. Rooms are simple but pleasant, clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The honesty fridge with drinks, snacks and, most importantly, natural insect repellent, is a great idea. The location is not far from the city centre (with a vehicle) but has more of a rural village feel, which is very pleasant. It offers outstanding value for money and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Medan.

They also provide a guide to hike Mount Sibayak. The place near Pasar Buah Berastagi. They allowed us to check out late for free as the prayer time at that time is 12.12. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We were very happy and satisfied staying there.

Objekat Smiley's Homestay nudi smeštaj u gradu Berastagi, na 24 km od znamenitosti Mount Sinabung. Na raspolaganju je besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. The breakfast at smileys is just stunning!!! Best breakfast you will find in Sumatra with self-made bread and banana-cupcakes. The room was big and clean with a nice terrace and a beautiful view. The hostel is located around 15 min walk from the center away, near to a nice viewpoint where you can see the sunset. Smiley ans his wife are such nice people! I would definitely go againg!
