Breakfast was really good (coconut pancackes and fruit) and you can always use the kitchen to prepare yourself a the / coffee (for free) or eat your own food; also, free water dispenser. The staff was super, they helped us also finding a taxi to go to the station! Thanks!

Snooze in Yogyakarta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 600 metres from Sultan's Palace. everything was perfect! check in was very smooth and the staffs were more than welcoming. The rooms are aesthetically decorated and very clean. I'm always worried about shared bathrooms in hostels but the ones at Snooze were super clean. my stay there, even though just one night, was a very memorable one.

Set 300 metres from Sultan's Palace, The Patio Yogya offers an open-air bath, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Wow! I can write a whole essay about this place: my highlight of Java, the cute courtyard, comfy beds, and clean bathrooms, and great neighborhood are worth every penny. But what makes this place really great is the people that run it. Angit, Tyas, Yudi and Frank, what a team of genuinely nice, honest and helpful people with so much patience and empathy. I was a bit sick and needed a place to take a break from travel for a few nights, they made the stay feel like home. The hostel can only host a max of 12 people at a time, so it's very mellow but yet easy to meet other travelers. Good job guys!

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. The staff were lovely and super helpful, food was some of the best I have had! Room and rest of the hotel super clean. Felt safe as a solo female traveller and would definitely stay again

Offering a garden and garden view, Bedhot Homestay is situated in Yogyakarta, 5.5 km from Museum Sonobudoyo and 5.9 km from Sultan's Palace. My favorite homestay so far! Bedhot has a very spacious communal space, full of plants, a little open bar, a kitchen, a playing and chilling corner, etc. Everything is furnished in traditional Javanese style, very unique and homey at the same time, a real Yogya experience! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They provide so many tours including when we wanted to rent a scooter. Breakfast was so good, some nights we even had dinner at the homestay. They always have beer Bintang and other drinks so no need to go outside. The room was comfy, loved the interior so much. Will pay a second visit!
