A large house, with 6 guest rooms, two terraces (one where an amazing breakfast is served), on a quiet back street away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet within walking distance of many of the top sites. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The place is spotless, the AC cold and the wi-fi strong. Steps away from the southern arun-arun, where locals congregate for food and socializing in the evening. Highly recommended.

It's small, the staff is so friendly and helpful, it's very clean, the beds are comfortable and offer a power point at every bed, a shelf, a light, and a privacy curtain. There's breakfast, great wifi, and it's well located down a quiet alleyway. The hostel is small but there are great social spaces to meet people. I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 6!

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. Very interesting location, with antique and valuable architecture, like an art gallery with some nice furniture and pictures on the walls. Food was amazing, staff as well, very polite and helpful. Staff was very attentive to all our needs and extra, they helped us to buy a train ticket on our name on our last day.

We were greeted by very friendly staff in this beautiful homestay. The room had everything we needed and was clean. Breakfast which was included was great as well, even with fresh fruit. They provided a map of Yogyakarta and had many recommendations what to do during our stay. In the evening you can get a good dinner for not a lot of money. It is located a little bit outside of the downtown area, but the taxi drive doesn't take a long time. We felt very welcome all the time and would definitely return.
