Everything worked well, the room was fairly clean (except for a piece of chewed gum left on top of the clothes rack). Kitchen was well stocked with Utensils. Aircon and WiFi worked great. Staff were professional.

Breakfast was free, so that was nice. They had also hammocks to chill in and a refreshing pool. The location was in a more luxurous neighbourhood, but not in the centre of guayaguil. However, they offer walking tours where they show you the highlights of the city with a lot of fun facts. And Nacho, the dog, is adorable.

The environment is quite chill and the staff very nice! Had a great veggie lunch for 5 dollars with desert and soup included. The breakfast has fresh fruit too! If you are veggie, at night I recommend the restaurant menestras del negro, 1 min walking from the hostel and ask for combinado de pollo without pollo. They will give you a giant plate with lentils, egg, avocado, rice, fries and ensalada for less than 5dollars.

Easy to go out for meals and coffee. Amazing staff who gave personalised and very helpful service- including organising tours. Room was comfortable, if unusual. Air conditioning was good too - necessary in the heat. Courtyard and terrace with a great view!

The budget double room is large and comes with AC. Our private bathroom was clean, although the shower head gets a bit temperamental. Bonus - wifi is super fast. They offer lunch and dinner, which we both got to try and they were delicious and reasonably priced. The hostel may be a bit dated but it’s hard to fault at this price range, so if you are not picky this is the place for you.
