We lived in a separate apartment with nice design. It has its own terrace. There is a big river just outside the apartment and the sound of river makes you feel you are in the nature. Very good kitchen and big parking space just by the apartment's door.

The staff were all really friendly, very nice people. The kitchen has everything you might need, and is always clean. Laundry service is available. The bathrooms are clean, hot water always available. The location of the hostel is great, it is just one street away from the main part of town, so you don't get a lot of traffic and it's a quieter area.The hostel appears to have two parts, an older section and a newer section. The newer section looks really nice. The older section is all made of wood, that's where we stayed because we were trying to be cheap. But still our room was comfortable. There is a nice area with hammocks and tables. We heard that Mindo gets busy mostly on the weekends, and we were there during the week, so it was really quiet and at times we were the only people there. Also, the staff was really helpful, gave us tips on local buses etc.

A very friendly ho(s)tel with an amazing location. The room was comfortable and the view was gorgeous (mountain view), although this is true for most of Mindo really. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits, eggs, pancake, juice and coffee/tea! You can enjoy your breakfast with the buzz of many hummingbirds visiting the feeders, making it a wonderful experience. Besides the various hummingbirds, many other bird species also visit the feeders or the surrounding trees! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped us go on a night tour in the area. Do note, they only accept cash, and the closest bank is in Los Bancos.

Everything new, everything ok The only hostal with the view on Mindo Amazing Many birds and animals all around It's in the Jungle Amazing You have to walk 10-15 minutes from the center to get it, but then it make sense The beds are new so you are going to sleep well

The room was comfy and nice, and the hammocks were great to relax in. It’d close to the Main Street of shops and restaurants but also quiet at night.

Location was good. You have to consider that Mindo is a very small town so location is relative to your preferences and expectations. Staff was really kind and nice.
