Caring and friendly working staff, great location

Cant say enough about the staff here. All of them were super friendly, helpful and down to earth. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Sometimes hostel dorms feel like caves, but the one I stayed in here was very spacious and airy which I really appreciated. Common room had complimentary tea, coffee, toast and jam! The location is perfect. Its easy to walk from the train or coach stations, to the Tyne waterfront, St James' park and the city center.

I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but instead I got a whole room to myself which was comfy. The bathroom was very clean. I think the bed was quite small for a single room but overall I was satisfied for a budget hotel.

The staff was very courteous. This was a very nice place to stay. Close to city centre (5-7 mins walk). The beds were soft and comfortable. We were late in reaching the hotel still the owner waited for us.
