The location of Kabannas is excellent. Walking distance from Newcastle Central and therefore also close to all the attractions and galleries. The space was huge for the price we paid! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was served in their indoor pub, which meant that we had a space other than our room. The breakfast spread (we chose continental as opposed to cooked) had good variety.

Very lovely people at the reception, they booked me to an all female room as a female solo Traveller even though I had booked a mixed room. Always good to come back here :)

I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but instead I got a whole room to myself which was comfy. The bathroom was very clean. I think the bed was quite small for a single room but overall I was satisfied for a budget hotel.

The owner is an exceptional host, made me feel welcome and looked after. The room was warm and comfortable at nights and I felt well-rested in the mornings. It was very clean and great value for money.
