The rooms had tons of shelf room even for big bags, curtains and well constructed beds that didn't transfer motion between top and bottom bunks. The kitchen was amazing and complete. The common space had a PS4 to play around with to boot. All the bathrooms had pages from Where's Waldo books on the walls (Where's Wally in the UK.)

Das Zimmer hatte Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Kleider. Zudem einen Vorhang am Bett zum zuziehen für genügend Privatsphäre, Leselicht und Stromanschluss war direkt am Bett. Es hatte 3 kl. Küchen mit den nötigen Kochutensilien. War alles sauber. Direkt beim Hostel nur wenige Parkplätze, dafür kann man wenige Minuten entfernt Parkplätze finden (gratis).

Perfect! The beds were sooo cozy with the curtains! The location is perfect! It’s kinda nice to be a walk away from town because it makes it quite quiet!! Kitchen is big and clean!

as soon as we walked in we weee impressed! lovely reception area with fun, lively music and a warm fire. information desk there with anything you’d want to know about the area or trips out. the rooms have a balcony, their own private bathroom and are clean! you can hear the club music from outside at night but I can get to sleep easily so this didn’t bother me. the kitchen and common area were amazing, big and spacious, clean kitchen every day there was a poo table and football table in the common area too as well as balcony for smoking, lovely fires so it was always warm. there was leather couches and even a sauna and movie room! it was everything you could want and more from a hostel! I’d definitely recommend. and location was perfect

Waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu shimmering in the sunlight was a true delight, and I often found myself lingering on the savoring the tranquility of the surroundings. In addition to its idyllic location, Lakeside Backpackers offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay. The communal areas are tastefully furnished, providing the perfect setting to unwind and socialize with fellow travelers. Die Lage war fantastisch!! Alles wichtige in bequemer Laufweite, trotzdem aber noch weit genug weg vom Trubel der Stadt. Das Personal war super nett und die Gemeinschaftsräume liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.
