Everything was very nice. Family style. Not a partyhostel. Best hostel I've been to.

Arthouse Hostel is 23-minute walk from Cataract Gorge Reserve and City Park. Launceston City Centre has a variety of shops, restuarants and cafes and is only a 15-minute walk away. Lovely place! Old building but the cleaners and staff give their best to keep it clean and tidy. Pete is very accommodating and tries to help where he can. Definitely recommend staying here!
