Given that the room rates were extremely affordable, I expected no-frills accommodation but was blown away by the quality of our stay. My room was very clean, well-furnished and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the shower gels felt and smelt really nice, and the amenities (western-style toilet, AC and hairdryer, etc) worked perfectly. The location is also great, away from the noise of the main road but near the food street and within easy access of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Zhong Chao and Guojun went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and convenient. They were always on hand to arrange tickets and rides, patiently answered every random question we had, even had tea with me while waiting for my friend to be ready and helped my friend buy medicine when she got sick. I’ve stayed at many hostels/ hotels around the world, but the service here is by far the most thoughtful, thorough, and sincere I’ve ever received.

Zhangjiajie Cloud Youth Hostel features free WiFi throughout the property. I stayed there a couple of nights and it was nice. The beds were comfy, and the staff was really helpful. He helped me to find someone to visit with and gave me all the information I needed. The hostel is cleaned, and I enjoyed staying there, even if there weren't many people at that time.
