Uno de los mejores albergues para realizar el camino de Santiago, el trato de sus propietarios es espectacular y el desayuno que te ofrecen muy basto para emprender la jornada.

Casa loopez Hostel se encuentra en Laredo, a 6 min a pie de Playa de la Salvé, y ofrece servicio de check-in y check-out exprés, habitaciones libres de humo, salón de uso común, wifi gratis en todo el... El personal y el trato recibido por parte de las hermanas fue excepcional, ademas de esto, muy limpio todo.

Albergue Piedad tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Boo de Piélagos. El albergue está a 15 km de Puerto de Santander y a 16 km de Puerto Chico, y dispone de zona de playa privada. Everything. From the first to the last minute. The owners are always happy to help. I had a fair idea what to do before I arrived but without the tips from the owner at the breakfast it would have been only the half of the total expereience. Verything was really clean and even we left the room a liitle messy, it was like new when we came back in the afternoon. Decoration is really nice to, you can see that they look into details. Breakfast was really good, best coffee in a hotel/hostel for me so far. If you have extra wishes they are happy to serve that too. I would for sure come back to Piedad, it was a wonderful stay. Albergue La Torre se encuentra en Santiurde de Reinosa, a 45 km de Colegiata de Santillana del Mar, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. It was great to get dinner and breakfast on-site, so we could enjoy the rural location fully.

El Albergue La Incera dispone de WiFi gratis y terraza y ofrece alojamiento apto para mascotas en San Martín, a 56 km de Santander. También alberga un restaurante. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. Stuning views on the mountain landscape, the place is really nicely done, super clean and we were warmly welcomed by the host, even coming later then planned, he was extremely nice to acomodate everything for us. Beds are super confortable and we had overall a really pleasent stay. Our kids loved also the sweet cute dog from the owner. Freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning was awesome, and they managed to offer us plant based milk. We didnt try the food at dinner as we came late and you need to make reservation until 5, but the smell was divine :)

If you want remote and super rural, this is definitely the place for you. Far away from any population centers, it's set in the hilly southwest section of pastoral Cantabria. Self-built over 4 years by owner Cris, her husband, and a friend, it's obviously a labor of love. Very rustic, yet comfortable and modern, it's like living in your own mountain cabin. Excellent views, dormitory rooms (each with a loft), one private room, guest kitchen, wood stove, wood interior and furniture -- you'll love it. They can accommodate 20 guests and the price is cheap! (I paid €17 in late October). And, for that price, Cris comes up from her home in the nearby village and prepares breakfast. Mine was toast with jam and tomato spread, hot drinks, fresh fruit and nuts from the trees outside, local butter, and good conversation. Notably, she did this even though I was the only guest! This part of Cantabria, Soba, has lots of outdoor activities, including caving. If you like extreme rural, don't miss Albergue Soba. I drove 15 km of poorly paved farm road by turning off CA-662. If you don't enjoy that the way I do, approach from CA-256 instead.

El Albergue Turístico Briz está situado en Espinama, en el parque nacional de los Picos de Europa, a 3 km de Fuente Dé. El personal fue súper amable, nos orientaron en nuestra llegada y tuvimos suerte de no coincidir con prácticamente nadie en el albergue. Repetiremos sin duda, descansamos muy bien y todo estaba muy limpio. Las instalaciones son apatas para un gran número de huéspedes.

La Hostería Fimar está situada a 10 minutos en coche de Santillana del Mar y Suances. Ofrece conexión Wi-Fi gratuita, aparcamiento privado gratuito y habitaciones con vistas al mar y a las montañas. Nice and clean, spacious rooms, breakfast was good with lots of traditional sweets.
