Situated in Wayanad, 18 km from Heritage Museum, Crossroads Hostel 1957 features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I had the perfect stay at crossroads, amazing vibe and the setting was perfect. Can easily hire a bike if u want to explore Wayanad or sit back a relax, really felt like i was home. I could of easily stayed for weeks even after extending my stay. Hospitality was so nice and the food served by the chef was amazing with huge portions and with little cost. Oh and theres a dog that will follow u around if u feed him biscuits 😃 see u soon guys!

Conveniently situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, Bunk house Fort Kochi is located 400 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, 600 metres from Kochi Biennale and 10 km from Cochin Shipyard. The location is just perfect, the little street is too cute and in the very center of fort kochi where all the cafés are. The 12 bed dorm is very well organized, I have rarely seen a room like that ! Beds are comfy and everyone has enough personal space. All the lockers have their own keys. There are 3 washrooms and 1 dedicated to female. The common areas are very cosy too! The owner and the staff really care about us, I would definitely stay here if I come back !

Situated in Cochin, 600 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, Kochill - Relax & Stay - provides a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property. Babu and Kurumi made the stay amazing. Kurumi is a fantastic cook and I ate her food more times than I care to admit!! Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend for all travellers, especially my fellow backpackers.

Located in Cochin, 35 km from Kochi Biennale, Back Packers Cochin Villa provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Abdul was so helpful throughout the whole booking and was a great communicator. The bed and room were very comfortable and it was peaceful and quiet, which was perfect. I was in a 6-bed female dorm. Abdul helped me organize an inexpensive rickshaw to the airport. Try to eat a meal at the hostel. Abdul's wife is a wonderful cook and you're sure to enjoy it! It is also possible to get in to Kochi from Aluva by metro. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would use it as a place to explore the surrounding area.

I've been to Hostel Gandhi in Chennai as well. Comparing it to Chennai, this is a smaller property, a renovated Kerala-style home, clean, and well-kept.

Set within 13 km of Kochi Biennale and 3.4 km of Cochin Shipyard, CosyCove offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ernakulam. A clean, comfortable and cosy hostel that is great for backpackers or short termers. Location is also good as you can walk to the metro station and the jetty.

Set in Varkala, 200 metres from Odayam Beach, House Of Surf Hostel for Women offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Although I only stayed one night the service was incredible. Swati took such good care of me, it was very heart warming. The place was undergoing some construction and I was the only one there (which led to my decision to move) but once they're back on track and full of guests I think staying there will be a blast. Rooms are beautiful, cozy beds and close to beautiful odayam beach.
