I really couldn’t fault it. Beautiful and comfortable and I liked that you had to leave your shoes at the door which made the place cleaner. I can’t believe I’ve forgotten the front desk’s name, but they were incredibly helpful and friendly and we had a great laugh about the Eurovision movie while they were telling me about things to do in Húsavík. Plenty of parking and a great central location to be able to walk everywhere easily. I would stay again and for longer!

Didn't feel like a hostel at all because of the privacy in the capsules. Capsules are good sized, equipped with TV, can be locked etc. The whole hostel has a great layout, check in system, facilities and all. The kitchen is professional grade with a walk in fridge. Location is great. The owners know how to run a hostel.

Set a 10-minute walk from central Akureyri, this family-owned hostel offers basic rooms with a TV and free Wi-Fi access. Iceland’s Ring Road/Route 1 is right next to the hostel. The cleaning inside was impeccable. The rooms and bathroom are very comfortable. What I more like is the plugs next to the bed and every bed, even the upper bunk beds, have a little table. Also it's very safe and every bed has a locker for luggage. When I arrived there wasn't any staff working so I can not judge.

Place is spacious that guests of the hostel and visitors fom the street can find a cosy room for them to spend a very nice time.

We met these 2 coolest girls that work there during summer and they totally changed the experience! The horses around, beautiful nature and peace & quiet was just want we needed!

This beautiful old guesthouse exceeded our expectations a lot. It is rebuilt from an old milk farm and has a lot of maze-looking cozy spaces, rooms and levels - each with hidden gems, from ancient family relics to comfortable resting areas. Nice wooden room was more spacious than the property photos show, and the sea view was a pure pleasure. Everything is very clean and has home-like spirit in it. The owner is very kind, he told us about the house and also gave several valuable hints which allowed us to see the seals in the nearby area. Very romantic place to stay!
