It felt very special to stay there, especially with such a friendly and interesting host. We were very lucky to stay at the same time as some other lovely people and we had great chats. The host, Yuki, is incredibly helpful and generous with his time and advice. He even assisted me with a luggage delivery service. His excellent English makes communication a breeze. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany.
