Tombstone Motel, Lodge & Backpackers features elevated views of Picton Harbour and the surrounding mountains. Very nice lodge with a relaxing atmosphere. Nice warm showers and a jacuzzi which was perfect as we had a little rain the days we were there. Big plus on the two cats and the dog that hanged around the place.

Lawrelle, the Proprietress, and her family, we’re amazing!!! They treated all the guests as family and were very quick to resolve any minor issues that have arisen while I was there. the amazing family was good enough reason for me to go back next time around!!! Though the building is old, to me it’s beautiful - like all the old Victorian houses of it’s era, with the high ceiling, spacious living/dining room, a quiet nook, spacious kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and in my private & separate female dorm, we have our own bathroom, refrigerator & sets of wares & kettle!!! I like the private & detached female dorm - we all got along and most guests are on a 1-yr working holiday. Love it’s location - near the CBD and vineyards galore, since I love wines!!!! Everything is within walking distance, except most wineries, but one. Thanks a million Lawrelle and family for a wonderful stay!!!! I miss you all and all the other guests there I’ve come to know and see & interact everyday - the regulars.

This was a great accommodation.Clean, comfortable, with a great location and wonderful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Situated in Blenheim, Tō Tātou Kainga has a shared lounge. The hostel also features free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, all rooms come with a desk. Both the room itself and the shared facilities were clean, the bed was comfy, the location was good (walking distance from the bus/railway station and the city center) and communication with the hosts was great. self-Check in/out was very easy and convenient. I especially appreciated them letting me check in early!
