The location was absolutely perfect 👌 close to Cuba Street and walking distance from the museum, the supermarket, and the water front. I personally loved the rooftop and had most of my meals up there. I would definitely make a return trip.

The hostel offers a sun terrace. You can play table tennis at United Auckland. Had a beautiful stay. It did exceed my expectation as I had access to games,movie rooms and the common area with the kitchen is great. In addition my room and bed was clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped with easy check in and check out. The building is so clean :) Also i was able to keep my luggage In the reception area even after my checkout for almost 6 hrs. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Taupo is an absolute mecca for all things outdoors – including hiking the famous Tongariro crossing, trout fishing, skydiving, jet boating, white water rafting, mountain biking and sailing on the Great Lake with the hostel's yacht 'Fearless'. The bed! Normally I don't like upper bunk bed but this one is stairs, not ladders to going up. Also, there are 2 pillows in the bed that never happened in another hostel in NZ. I really appreciate that!
