MARSJÖ GÅRD BO & YOGA is a high-quality hostel surrounded by nature and just a few km from Borgholm. If that doesn't already sound fantastic, let me add that the peculiarity of this hostel is to offer two yoga sessions included in the stay for all guests! You will experience a suggestive relaxation session in the evening and a regenerating yoga shake in the morning. What else? The hostel looks wonderful, both from the outside and inside, the rooms are nice and cosy (you must provide your bed linen and towels or they are available for rent in the hostel) and you can prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Mia and Lasse placed their effort into the customization and improvement of each of the areas of the place with great attention to detail. They put their heart into this project. The result is a relaxing and awesome place a few steps from Lofta Kustväg, an evocative country road that runs along the sea and that you can comfortably travel by bike (also available for rent at the reception). I can only assign five well-deserved stars! If you go there, don't forget to order the vegan breakfast at check-in. You can thank me later ;)

This hostel is located close to the centre of Borgholm, just 500 metres from the Kalmarsund Strait. Borgholm Castle is 1.1 km away. Free WiFi access is available. Better rooms than IT looks at booking. Small room but comfortable. Helpful owner. Good location.

This property is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, by the UNESCO-listed Stora Alvaret limestone barren plain. room was nicely renovated except for the bathroom but this was very functional and spacious. pool was very nice to get into after the long hike and a shower ;) staff was very nice and the upgrade from vandarahem to hotel worth it.

The kitchen was excellent. It had plenty of space for parking. Charming staff with a great sense of humor, available when you wanted as well as absent when you wanted, as you might expect from someone with a Ph.D. in psychology. Smiley here!
