Rooms at Vadstena Folkhögskola Vandrarhem feature simple décor and have private bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are included. To be honest, as an accomodation it was pretty average. But the surroundings, not least for a person interested in history. When booking the room, I didn't realise that it was *so* close to the old convent. Nor did I realise it was so close to lake Vättern (just outside the door) and I sorely regretted not bringing my swimsuit. The staff on site was also brilliant.

Amazing location just by the lake Vättern and the walking paths of Omberg. Limited avalibility of café/restaurant, so it might be a good idea to be prepared to do self catering in the common kitchen.
