To be honest, as an accomodation it was pretty average. But the surroundings, not least for a person interested in history. Nor did I realise it was so close to lake Vättern (just outside the door) and I sorely regretted not bringing my swimsuit. The staff on site was also brilliant.

All common areas were sparkling clean all the time. The staff was lovely. I found the location of the hotel perfect. It is in the heart of the old city center and close to many bars, coffee shops and supermarkets. There are so many things to explore and the sound of water from the outside is very soothing. Breakfast was nice. The bed was very comfortable.

A beautiful "Vandrarhem" (this is something between a cheap hotel and a hostel, with private rooms but with shared bathrooms, kitchen and social areas you can use if you like.) Amazing location just by the lake Vättern and the walking paths of Omberg. Limited avalibility of café/restaurant, so it might be a good idea to be prepared to do self catering in the common kitchen.
