Very secure, rooms got separate door codes, lockboxes to store stuff much appreciated. Communual kitchen & area got all kinds of small utensils you might need, from cooking utensils to shared food (spices, noodles, shares from other guests) and useful things like sunscreen. Plenty of informative brochures about the area laid out, located right in the city, with only short walks to grocery store, park, beach or bustling inner city. AC kept all areas nice cool.

One of a kind comfy place with a friendly staff. Very cool experience, we enjoyed it very much. It has all you need, including a star-gazing patio and a gym. Staying here made our trip special. Highly recommended.

Located on the southern coast of Honolulu Island, this hostel is one block from Kuhio Beach and the Honolulu Zoo. The Polynesian Hostel offers comfortable accommodations. Wish I had longer to stay, this hostel was awesome! 1min walk to the beach, they have free beach toys and towels and a big kitchen. Bedroom was really spacious, spotless and comfy.
