Blue Swallow Motel

Tucumcari

Established in 1939, the historic Blue Swallow Motel offers accommodation in Tucumcari with free WiFi throughout the property and free private parking available on site.

Each room at this motel is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. Every room has an outdoor seating area and a private bathroom. It wasn’t my first stay in this gorgeous, historic motel. The new owners are very friendly. I booked a room too much and they looked if there was a solution. At the end we just kept the rooms we payed for. The owners are doing a great job preserving the place. In the morning you can get some freshly brewed coffee and a belvita breakfast cookie. My fiancé and I wrote a roadbook and when asking for a stamp, the owners got really enthusiastic about the book. I had a great stay. The rooms are so gorgeous! I had a great sleep in that comfy bed! (: If I’m doing the Route 66 in the future, I’ll come back, for sure! Great photography opps. The neon lights are gorgeous!
