We did not have time to eat breakfast as had to go to Ferry. What a wonderful surprise though when we were able to get a bag of goodies in the morning to take with us. The front desk clerks on night shift and morning shift were absolutely the best in customer service. Friendly and professional.

The New owner checked us in late the evening we arrived and was there when we left at 6:00 a.m. the next morning. The place has a rundown appearance, but the new owner is doing his best to make your stay a good one. The past owner let the place go down hill so he (the new owner) is reopening one room at a time as each room meets his approval. It is about a five minute drive to the ferry. I would recommend this motel.

It’s a little pricier than some of the motel options but it’s worth the extra in my opinion. My room was spotless and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus - it wasn’t mentioned to me when booking. And the attached pub had some good beers and served excellent food - something else which I didn’t expect.PeterSolo traveler

The location is about 10 minutes driving time from the ferry terminal. The restaurant officially closes at 20:00, but they were still kind enough to serve us when we arrived maybe 15 minutes before closing time.
