Staff were excellent, great service. Stone throw away from the supermarket and eatery. Short drive to the viewing point which is a must go. Very happy with my stay, would definitely come back if I'm here again. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Keep it up guys.

Quiet location set back from main road. The unit was spacious with a big bathroom and kitchenette. There was a patio and a designated parking spot. The WiFi was good. The motel is walking distance to things we needed. And the beach was just a two minute walk.

Kaikoura gateway motor lodge certainly delivered in that department. The beds were Sooo comfortable (not to hard, not to soft) . The BBQ area is a bonus as well as the pool use during your stay. Would have liked to have a room with a view, however, the view entering and exiting the motel made up for it, with a stunning view of the mountains and beach.
