Staff very friendly and actually took us to our room and explained everything. She very much wanted to make sure we had what we needed. Shower pressure was the best we have ever experienced at a motel/hotel.

It was so clean and tidy. The owner was very lovely, greeting us in the beginning and then giving us space. She even offered us breakfast which was a lovely array of choices, however we got on the road early to get travelling. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the best bed we’ve encountered whilst on holiday. Thank you 😊

I booked this property for my elderly parents who had a medical appointment in Paraparaumu. They were so happy with the accomodation and said it was so much nicer than staying in a motel. In particular they: Loved the friendliness of the hosts. Easy to connect with via phone. Everything about the cottage was beautifully presented and comfortable. Enjoyed watching the tuis feed. Appreciated the extra time the hosts allowed them due to not having people before or after them - it was a mid-week stay.

Room was clean, modern with lovely furniture including a TV in the bedroom with its own sky channels. It had a heat pump and full kitchen which was amazing. The owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this motel and I will be staying there next time I am in the area.

Location- I nearly got lost.. on my way , i was worried i got lost in the middle of nowhere..but all good because i was met by a lovely host. Just twi things: maybe a sign on the road will be helpful because i nearly drove past and it will be difficult to make a turn bec. Of the road and 2. I am afraid of dog so I was a bit frightened when the dog turned up but the host was quick to remove the dog. All in all - very nice place.. i would come back again.

Location was spot on as we were at Southwards for the whole weekend. Loved the shower (Plenty of water pressure) and it had a hand held, movable rose. I would rate this motel one of the best for comfort and cleanliness.
