Bar Harbor Motel, motel a Bar Harbor

This Bar Harbor motel is just 1 mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. Facilities include a seasonal outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi access, and free shuttle service to area attractions.

The front desk was open at all times and the staff were all friendly and helpful all of the time. Breakfast was excellent and they constantly refreshed the food items as they were used up. They also provided cartons and paper bags for takeout. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with well kept grounds. It all ran like a well oiled machine. The pool was lovely after a day’s hiking and there were plenty of places to sit in the sun or under the trees to have a drink and a meal if you wanted to stay on the property. Of the five places we stayed during our trip through New England this was the clear winner.

Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, this motel is 100% smoke-free and features free WiFi access and free shuttle service into central Bar Harbor.

Felt like we were in our own little cabin. Room spacious with comfortable bed, a seperate dressing area and two sinks. We liked how easy it was to access our room using keyless entry. We enjoyed on line ordering for breakfast and additional linen. Liked how we parked outside our room and easy access to the free bus to the Harbor. Liked that it was for adults only.

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy! We plan to make it an annual trip because we love it so much!
