This was the best accommodation on our NZ trip. Not only was it dead quiet, comfy beds and super fast Wi-Fi with great amenities, it had its own glow worm cave!

Offering free WiFi and free on-site bus and car parking, Mohua Motels is located in Takaka. All accommodation offers a patio, fully equipped kitchenette and mountain and garden views. The motel manager accommodated well for our late arrival and organized breakfasts for us for our early departure the following morning. The communication was quick and helpful. The motel rooms are spotless, clean, and well taken care of. Our stay was a pleasant surprise.

Offering a children's playground and free on-site parking, Golden Bay Motel is located in Takaka, just 5 minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. It was very spacious. I wish we had planned for sending mor than 1 night.
