Located in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Cooinda Lodge Kakadu offers air-conditioned rooms with a private courtyard. Guests enjoy access to outdoor swimming pools and a restaurant. It has been very attractively laid out with mature tropical trees and well kept lawns and pathways. The accommodation units are nicely spaced for privacy and offer a range of choices. We stayed in an ensuite lodge which was very comfortable and had everything we needed including a sitting out area. Only it was too hot for us! The restaurant is excellent with a good selection of delicious food. The coffee is very good also. I enjoyed the effort which had been made to incorporate Aussie native fruit and products into specially created meals. Quite delicious and showed that the chef was both creative and innovative. The staff we met with were all incredibly polite and friendly. They looked as they though they enjoyed their job and were happy to be there. They couldn’t do enough for us. All in all, a really well run place to stay and definitely worth paying a visit for the feel good factor.

Excellent meals; breakfast had a variety of options, fresh and tasty. Compliments to the chef! Our dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. From the marble foyer to its uniquely shaped exterior, Mercure Kakadu Crocodile is a retreat in the wilderness of Kakadu National Park. No complaints, the staff were lovely and the service was good. The food at the restaurant was lovely.

Located alongside the Katherine River and Nitmiluk Gorge, Cicada Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and a bar. They had an exceptional staff: very efficient, friendly and super attentive. The breakfast was included and was beautifully presented and exceptional. They also had a happy hour period where guests could mingle for drinks and canapés. We would highly recommend Cicada Lodge!

This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Outdoor dining is also possible at Katherine Farmstay Caravan Park. Everything was great. We didn't expect that the cabin room was spacious and we love the cozy interior, fully functional and tidy. The bed and everything was just perfect and plus the camp kitchen equipement looks new. We enjoyed the farm animal encounter and the pool. Plus there's a river next to it if you're keen to explore. Love love it!
