In a quiet location above Lake Walensee, the Hotel Neu-Schönstatt offers a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. Free WiFi is available and the Flumserberg Cable Car is 2 km away. Superb location, big car park just next to the hotel. Very easy self check-in, paid a bit extra for the view on the lake which was well worth it, lovely bathroom and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was excellent, large choice and very good quality, couldn’t fault it. A nun came round to check everything was ok at breakfast which was a nice touch.

On the slopes of the Flumserberg Mountain, Hotel Bergheim is a 2-minute drive from Flums and the Tannenheim Ski Area. The views were amazing. We had a room to the mountain side and the road which was just fine but the other to the valley was impressive. There is parking available and the breakfast was very good, also with a great view. There is also a bus stop right in front but we did not use it. The staff were very nice and helped us with our questions.

Just 300 metres from the Maschgenkamm Cable Car, the Cristal Hotel is right next to the slopes and a ski lift of the Tannenboden/Flumserberg Ski Area. Great staff and excellent location

Situated amid a breathtaking mountain scenery on the shores of Lake Walen, Marina Walensee Hotel can be found right at the cable car station, providing access to the Flumserberg ski area. I liked everything. It was my best birthday with a view. The restaurant is very good. The most sweet for me thing was, when I asked about the cheese I liked, the girl immediately answered: oh, it‘s from this mountain! It’s so nice to eat cheese not from the supermarket, but „from the local mountain“. Thank you!

Family-run since 3 generations, the Restaurant Knobelboden can be found in the charming village of Oberterzen high above the Walensee lake. Charming location, great view over lake, close to mountain skiing, wandering and biking routes - Switzerland at its best!
