Aroha Taveuni Beachfront Bures is a 20-minute drive from Matei Airport (Taveuni Island Airport). Just metres from the beach, it features a 10-metre infinity pool and free Wi-Fi access. This is a small intimate property with a great, locally adored restaurant attached. The bungalows are beautifully designed. The property is more for self-starters, with the ability to attend mass at the Island's historic church or shop in local markets just outside the entrance...it is not an isolated all-inclusive resort. It is nicely integrated into Island life. The wonderful staff will arrange anything you might want to do in or around the Island. The excellent restaurant with stunning views across the Somosomo Straight is a highlight.

Situated a short walk from Taveuni Beach, Maravu Taveuni Lodge offers accommodation with access to the beach and a colorful and vibrant reef. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The hosts at Maravu are so incredibly welcoming and make an effort to call every guest by their name. The gardens and pool are beautiful, the food at the on-site restaurant is good quality and reasonably priced, especially at breakfast! Big shout-out to Rafa, who feels like the dad of the place and is so full of love for everybody, he immediately makes you feel like you are part of their family. He also loves his kava and music ;) I loved my time at Maravu and highly recommend it to all!

Our stay at camp Taveuni was a highlight for us on a long term trip. Allen & Mary are really attentive hosts, always asking if we needed anything and Alan was happy to lend a hand booking activities or a ride to any guests if he was on his way into Matei. On top of that he maintained a really laid back atmosphere at the resort, being really accommodating with meals (and they were great and affordable! - If you’re diving, get the muesli with local yogurt :)) & happy to share a beer and a good story or two! He’s built the place himself, and our dome was like a much-needed oasis from the heat of the day and sounds in the night that might wake us (roosters…). The bath facilities were spacious and clean, with great water pressure in the shower. Clean drinking water was provided and the view from the pool is lovely (the place is on a hillside with sea views). It’s up a hill off the main road, but it only takes ~5 min or less to go up or down. We really loved our stay here and met some other great backpackers. Would highly recommend it, it’s excellent value. Thanks so much Allen & Mary!!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Taveuni Dive Resort is located near Soqulu, 9km from Waiyevo. Free WiFi Access in public areas is available in this resort. resort room is clean and tidy, food is nice. Everyone is helpful and dive masters are professional.
