The location itself was perfect to be able to do this. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than the pictures. The rooms were spacious and very inviting. We felt right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful to our every wish.

Hotel la piscine has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Villers-sur-Mer. During our long first week-end trip with our 1,5 year toddler in a hotel, we were lucky to stay in a place where everybody feels welcome and can feel comfortable. The entire place was spotless clean so our little one could walk around without any issue. During 4 days we met great people, young and older couples, families. The owners and staff went above and beyond to help. This place is super inclusive and chill. We didn't use the pool but it looked perfect and the water was not cold at all ! There was also a sauna and petanque field. Games and books were available downstairs. All the time there was some good music playing on the terrace. We had dinner every night downstairs while our toddler was sleeping: tapas, amazing paella, tapas and planche, barbecue. And a new barman makes the most amazing, large and loaded cocktails. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment is well organised. The little kitchen came in handy. Everything was no nonsense but super comfortable into the details. This place is a hidden gem! Thierry et épouse, merci bcp, ne changez surtout rien.

Oma auto suositeltava, busseja rannoille ei pahemmin kulje. Itse kaupungissa pääsee kävellen kaikkialle.

Hotelli oli automatkailijan kannalta loistavalla paikalla. Suoraan hotellin edessä on edullinen parkkihalli (5-7€ per yö) ja muutenkin hotelli hyvällä paikalla Caenin nähtävyyksiä ajatellen. Hotellin siisteys ja huone ylittivät odotuksemme. Ranskalainen parveke oli plussaa. Caen toimi majapaikkanamme Normandian maihinnousupaikkoihin tutustumisellemme. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja sijainti meille sopiva. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, kun saimme tuoretta patonkia / croisantteja yms. herkkuja kahvin kera. Henkilökunnalle arvosanaksi 10++! Loistavaa palvelua sekä omistajan pitämä opasretki Normandian rannikolle oli upea: huolella ja asiantuntevasti suunniteltu. Kiertoajelu läpi pienten kylien oli mahtava lisä opasretkelle! Vahva suositus hotellista!

A beautiful and historic building. It’s a small medieval labyrinth. Absolutely charming. And the breakfast was out of this world, absolutely fabulous. Staff was absolutely friendly and welcoming, even when most couldn’t speak English.

Very unique castle with completely different rooms in it… giving you the inner sense of connection with the site around not form the perspective of hotel… but mostly as of you are an expected guest of some nice family… very cozy.. and especially me and my son we like the Michelin dinners there ….

The hospitality of the friendly reception is so memorable. The comfortable and warm interior is impressive and it is a good place to relax quietly. When you see the wonderful scenery there, you feel relaxed and come to rest properly. I will definitely visit this hotel again. If you visit this hotel, make sure you have a horse riding experience.

The property was beautiful. There were acres for walking and bike riding. Our garden room had outdoor seating. there were many indoor rooms for relaxing or drinking. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. It has everything you could want to eat. The staff was all friendly.

Great location with ample parking space and friendly staff. The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Could easily walk to restaurants and the house/garden of Claud Monet.
